The following study is based on the two nativities of Russia from June 30th, 1908 and December 8th, 1991.
As expected, the Kremel candidate Dmitri Medvedev was "elected" to succeed Russian President Vladimir Putin by an overwhelming majority. The 42-year-old candidate received almost 70 percent of the vote. Putin could no longer run after two terms in office. The election was always accompanied by allegations of manipulation. Due to the massive support of the state media for Putin's ideal successor Medvedev, the result seemed to be certain in advance. Two politicians from the liberal opposition were denied candidacy for allegedly formal reasons.
